Our Story
The discipleship model that propelled Perimeter church is applicable in every church across the globe. Now, that’s our mission.
At Perimeter Church, life-on-life missional discipleship is the way that we are developing spiritual maturity in the lives of our people. For years, Perimeter was recognized for growth and innovation, but we realized that there was something missing – taking people to a level of maturity in their faith.
The church realized that life-on-life missional discipleship had been at the core of our leadership development, but it was not the culture of the church. It was not a movement. As we began to apply the principles of Jesus’s model of discipleship to shape the culture of discipleship in the church, we saw a new level of spiritual depth develop amongst our people.
Life on Life Ministries was founded out of Perimeter to help other churches follow Jesus’ model of discipleship in their church.
We are a ministry of a local church, designed specifically to help other churches.
Where We Work
WE PARTNER WITH CHURCHES AROUND THE WORLD
We work with local churches around the world to develop Life on Life hubs that can provide training for other churches in their region. This allows us to offer our relational training process outside of Atlanta. We are seeing discipleship movements ignite and hubs develop in Brazil, South Africa, Poland, Singapore, Manilla, Ireland, Australia, the Middle East, and Asia.

Bill Wood
Director of Life on Life Ministries
He joined the US Air Force at the age of 17 and during his enlistment he heard a clear presentation of the gospel for the first time and his life was transformed. In his new-found faith, he was introduced to discipleship as a few men discipled him. From those early days as a new Christian, he knew he would do for other men, what these men had done for him. That commitment to disciple men has remained from his time at the University of Tennessee and throughout his business career. In his present role, he encourages leaders around the world as they embrace a vision of discipleship for themselves and their churches.
Bill lives in Johns Creek, GA with his wife, Debby. They have three married adult children and four grandsons. When Bill isn’t reading a book, he enjoys walking and working on projects around his home and for his children. His grandsons represent a great opportunity to invest his life in a third generation of family. He and Debby continue to invest their lives in men and women. Bill has taken Psalms 92:12, 14 as his challenge for this stage of his life, to be fruitful, even in old age.
